Ringstmeyer earns 25-year milestone

SIOUX FALLS – During this past weekend’s State Wrestling Championships in Sioux Falls, Hot Springs head wrestling coach Ray Ringstmeyer was presented a 25-year Coach Award from the South Dakota High School Activities Association.

Kramer named SDHSCA Football Coach of Year

Hot Springs football coach Ben Kramer was recently named the South Dakota High School Coaches Association Football Coach of the Year. Some of Kramer’s accomplishments this year included leading his team to the Class 11B state championship while earning his 100th career win on his way to a current career record of 104-66, which is the most victories in school history.

Andre Warrior BOYS BASKETBALL Eighth-grader scored 16 of this team’s 26 points versus Hot Springs last Monday and then helped lead the Tigers to their first win of the season this past Monday in a 47-46 overtime win over Edgemont in the Region 7B playoffs. .

Bison boys down Comets in overtime

HOT SPRINGS – Ever since a 19-point loss to Rapid City Christian in last year’s regular season boys basketball finale, one could say the Hot Springs Bison have had the Comet boys’ number. Hot Springs redeemed that aforementioned loss with a 10-point upset of Christian in the 2023 Region 8A semifinals to knock them out of the playoffs and later advance to the Class “A” State Tournament.
