Clyde M. Gullickson, 100, passed away peacefully in his sleep, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and a lifetime of incredible stories. Born on a sunny day in 1923, Clyde lived a remarkable life filled with adventures, achievements, and an abundance of joy.

Clyde proudly served his country as a World War II veteran, spending a memorable tour in Berlin, Germany. A man of many talents, he wore various hats throughout his life - from being a devoted minister of a church to showcasing his carpentry skills and even becoming a property owner. Clyde’s eclectic interests extended to collecting antiquities, each piece carrying a tale of its own.

In 1948, Clyde married the love of his life, Dorothy Gullickson, and together they embarked on a journey that spanned an incredible 66 years. Clyde’s heart endured a profound ache when Dorothy passed away in 2014, leaving an indelible void in his life. Their love, however, lives on through the 4 grandkids, who remain eternally grateful for the warmth and care Clyde provided.

Survived by his son, David Gullickson; daughter, Vicki Zegan; four adoring grandchildren, Leah, Aaron, Anthony, and Joshua Zegan; and three delightful great-grandchildren, Clyde’s family was the heartbeat of his existence. His laughter echoed through the generations, creating a bond that transcends time.

Clyde, a man with a song in his heart, was not only a skilled pianist but also a talented creator of musical instruments. His love for music was contagious, and he continued to play the piano with gusto until the very day he joined Dorothy in the afterlife. His home resonated with melodies that brought comfort and joy to all fortunate enough to listen.

Known for his infectious sense of humor, Clyde was a master of dad jokes that left everyone in stitches. His goofy antics and quick wit made him the life of every gathering, and his grandkids and great-grandkids cherished the precious moments they shared with him.

As we bid farewell to Clyde M. Gullickson, let us remember the man who lived life to the fullest, spreading love and laughter wherever he went. May his legacy endure through the tales we tell, the music we play, and the laughter that echoes in our hearts. Clyde, you will be dearly missed but forever remembered with smiles and love.
