This year’s Easter Egg Hunt at the South Dakota State Veterans Home featured a powdering of snow as kids raced across the lawn to gobble up eggs. The event was coordinated this year by the American Legion Riders and co-sponsored by the Hot Springs Area Chamber of Commerce who provided the eggs. This past Saturday, March 30, was a busy day for the Legion Riders and the American Legion as they also hosted a Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day event as well. See related story below.
