HOT SPRINGS – Have you been at a Hot Springs business where you received amazing service from an employee and thought, “Wow, that person deserves an award of some kind!” Well, now there is exactly such a thing. The Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce recently rolled out their new Superior Service Program.

HOT SPRINGS – The annual Hot Springs High School Senior Awards Ceremony was held inside Case Auditorium last Monday, May 6, where more than $500,000 in scholarships were announced and presented to the Class of 2024.

HOT SPRINGS – This weekend marks the completion of high school for 59 graduates from Hot Springs and 10 from Edgemont as the two schools host their annual commencement exercises. Hot Springs’ will be held Saturday, May 18, at 1 p.m. while Edgemont’s will be Sunday, May 19, at 3 p.m.

HOT SPRINGS – Multiple Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) representatives presented a regional leaders breakfast Tuesday morning April 30 at the Mueller Center in an effort to discuss how WDT can better help serve the community’s needs.

WALL -- Edgemont High School students recently enjoyed a field trip organized by their FFA and Spanish 1 classes. The trip took them from a meat processing plant in Wall, South Dakota, to a celebrated bike manufacturer in Rapid City.

HOT SPRINGS – The primary election is slated to take place on Tuesday, June 4, which is when area registered voters will decide a number of races, including who will be the two District 30 Republican nominees in the November General Election for the South Dakota House of Represenatives, as well as three seats on the Fall River County Commission and the one District 30 Senate Republican candidate.

EDGEMONT -- In a heartfelt tribute to a beloved local figure, the Edgemont Alumni Association has unveiled a new sign dedicated to the memory of Paul Gull, the cherished sports announcer and town crier who left a lasting mark on the community.
