WALL -- Edgemont High School students recently enjoyed a field trip organized by their FFA and Spanish 1 classes. The trip took them from a meat processing plant in Wall, South Dakota, to a celebrated bike manufacturer in Rapid City.

HOT SPRINGS – Kick your summer off with a hometown BBQ this Saturday, May 4, at the Hot Springs Mueller Civic Center from 12 noon to 3 p.m. A series of local commission and District 30 candidate forums hosted by the Fall River County Republican Party in April has resulted in over 200 attendees learning about the Republican candidates running to represent them, both locally and in the SD Legislature.

HOT SPRINGS – What started as the Good News Sunday youth program at The United Churches in Hot Springs expanded to include an afterschool group for the community’s children ages 10 and above. The program is named the “Hang-out” and meets at the church at 342 N. Garden on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
