Hot Springs Bison Athletics Hall of Fame announces its 2020 Class

HOT SPRINGS – The Hot Springs Bison Athletics Hall of Fame will induct three individuals and one team as part of their Class for 2020.

The new members will officially be recognized in the fall of 2021 during the annual homecoming weekend as this year’s banquet was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They will be inducted with the 2021 class.

Edgemont’s Martin named Region 8 Co-Coach of the Year

EDGEMONT – The 2020 Region Basketball Coaches of the Year Awards were announced last week by the South Dakota Coaches Association, and there are a couple of names on the list familiar to Edgemont Mogul sports fans – Joe Martin and Dave Hollenbeck.

Martin, who is a 2001 graduate of Edgemont High School and has been the boys’ basketball coach in Edgemont for the past seven years, was named Co-Coach of the Year for the association’s Region 8.
