The Lady Moguls traveled to Rapid City Christian to take on the Comets on Tuesday, October 14.  The Junior Varsity played first.  The Lady Moguls started out quickly taking the first set.  The JV split with the Comets in two sets: 25-15 and 19-25.  This improved the JV record to 3-4-4.  The Varsity took the court against the Comets.  The Lady Moguls fought through some tough servers and hitters to play with the Comets.  The Lady Moguls fell to the Comets in three sets: 12-25, 18-25, and 10-25.  The Varsity record is 3-15.
On Thursday, October 16, the Lady Moguls hosted the Red Cloud Crusaders.  The Junior Varsity took the court showing improvement.  The Moguls split with the Crusaders in two sets: 21-25 and 25-15.  This improves the JV record to 3-4-5.  The Varsity came out ready to play against the Crusaders.  The Lady Moguls fought hard but fell to the Crusaders in four sets: 27-25, 16-25, 20-25, and 17-25.  The Varsity record is 3-16.
The Lady Moguls traveled to Crawford for the Panhandle Conference Tournament on Saturday, October 18.  The first opponents for the Lady Moguls were the Morrill Lions.  The Moguls had a slow start to the day and ended up falling to the Lions in two sets: 21-25 and 15-25.  The Lady Moguls next faced the Sioux County Warriors.  The Moguls had played the Warriors earlier in the season with the Moguls coming out on top.  The Warriors were ready for the re-match and took the first set.  The Lady Moguls showed determination and came back to defeat the Warriors in three sets: 15-25, 25-11, and 25-18.  The Lady Moguls improved their record to 4-17.
The Lady Moguls took on the Oelrichs Tigers on Monday, October 20.  Look for the results next week.  The Lady Moguls will travel to New Underwood to play the Tigers and the Wall Eagles on Friday, October 24.  The Lady Moguls will host the Pine Ridge Thorpes on Monday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m.  This will be the last home volleyball game and is designated as Parent’s Night.  We would love to have you come out and support the Lady Moguls as they finish up their regular season!
