HOT SPRINGS – The 12th annual Trampus Haskvitz Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, June 3, at the Southern Hills Golf Course in Hot Springs.
The Trampus Haskvitz Memorial Foundation, which hosts the event each year, has started giving back to local communities and first responders. Last year the foundation donated $10,000 to the Fall River Fire District and helped two families battling cancer.
Trampus Haskvitz was burnt over on August 11, 2011, in the Coal Canyon Fire at the young age of 23. Trampus loved big and was always making people laugh, he is greatly missed by his family and friends. The foundations mission is to keep Trampus’s legacy alive and support local first responders and community members in need.
If you are wanting to partake in the fun for this good cause, it’s not too late to register! Registration, raffle tickets and information about the foundation can all be found on their website; www.trampushaskvitzgolftounament.godaddysites.com. The tournament is a 4-man scramble with a shotgun start at 9 am.
The Haskvitz family and the Trampus Haskvitz Memorial Foundation Board would like to thank everyone for their continued support for this great event. It’s always good to see all of Trampus’s family and friends gather, laugh and share memories together, as that’s exactly what Trampus would want.
