Hot Springs Bills

On September 19, the Hot Springs Bills played on artificial turf for the first time, at the South Dakota School of Mines at 4 p.m.
The Bills kicked off first in the first quarter. Jordan Uhlir, Hot Springs, had the first touch down. Macijewski of Hot Springs, got the extra point and we had the lead 8-0.
In the second quarter, Uhlir ran for a 30 yard gain, while Macijewski got a touchdown and the extra point also.
During the third quarter, Hughson of Hot Springs got a touchdown with a flag on the play against Rapid City. No extra point was scored. The score was than 22-0.
Matthew Close of Hot Springs, recovered a fumble. Sebastian Morse of Edgemont took his first hand off, but lost 6 yards.
Macijewski scored again with a touchdown and extra point, making the score 30-0.
Braden Peterson of Edgemont, made an excellent tackle on a Rapid City Steelers at their 10 yard line. The Steeler then made their first touchdown and two point conversion, making the score 30-8.
In the fourth quarter, Morse tackled on the return while Petserson ran after receiving the ball from Macijewski. Peterson made it to the 1 yard line. Morse received the next ball, was tackled and a flag on the play against the Bills for holding.
Colter Gerard, of Edgemont, did another great job of tackling. The final score had the Bills on top against the Steelers, 30-8.
The next Hot Springs Bills game is Saturday, September 26 in Hot Springs at 12 p.m. They will play Douglas. Plead come and cheer them on.
