Edgemont High Track Stars kicked off their season at Newcastle, WY on April 2.
Dustin Curl led the boys with 14.25 points by placing second in the 800 meter run and fifth in the 4 X 100 meter relay. Curl’s teammates included Lathen Stevens, Malaky Refior and Brok Stovern. Curl also placed fourth in the boys long jump.
Tierra Hamaker scored all three of the girls points with her sixth place finish in the 300 meter hurdles.
Lathen Stevens placed third in the 400 meter dash which gave him six points. Stevens also placed eighth in the boys triple jump.
Rodney Darrow placed eighth in the 1600 meter run and seventh in the 3200 meter run. This gave Darrow a total of 3 points.
