April 12, 1947 - March 21, 2024 Marilyn “Penny” (Fox) Wood, 76, of Custer, S.D., passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on March 21, after a brief battle with cancer. Penny is survived by her daughters, KathyJo Hanson (Tim) Edgemont, and Margine Humrich (Greg) Arvada, Colo.; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a sister, Nan (Fox) White (Richard) Commerce City, Colo.

June 15, 1941 - March 26, 2024 Stanley ‘Nic” N. Bennett, 82, of Hot Springs, S.D., passed away March 26, 2024, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hot Springs.

September 22, 1935 - March 28, 2024 Thursday, March 28, 2024, Velva LaDonna Plant, passed away at the age of 88 at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. The fourth-born of five children, Velva was born on September 22, 1935, in Sisseton, S.D., to Rudolph & Thelma Elizabeth Harrison Horstman.

June 13, 1927 - March 10, 2024 Elizabeth Ann Graf, ‘Miss Betty’, died March 10, 2024, at Pine Hills Retirement Community Living Center in Hot Springs, at the age of 96. Graveside services, officiated by Pastor Doug Burdette, were held Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Evergreen Cemetery, where Betty is now back with Ed and her daughters, Sharron and Mardella.

June 12, 1931 – February 23, 2024 Clarice LaVonne (Robbennolt) Williams, 92, walked peacefully through the gates of heaven on February 23, 2024 to join her beloved husband Chester and infant son Aaron to be wrapped in the everlasting light and warmth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her loving children, Susan Kay Turnbull, Bonny Ray Jenniges, and Steven Wayne Williams were with her in prayer as she gently departed this wonderful world.
