May 8, 1934 - February 8, 2023

Judy J Lessard, 88, after a brief illness, passed away at the Seven Sisters Living Center in Hot Springs on February 8, 2023.

Upon graduation from Yankton College, Judy embarked on a satisfying 32-year career as the librarian at the Hot Springs Veterans Administration Center. Judy loved gardening, camping, reading and travel.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother Fred; husband, Jack and grandson, Richard. Survivors include sons, Jim (Patricia), and John (Barbara); daughter, Jean (Tom); four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the charity of your choice. There will be a private family ceremony at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
