Annette Marie Bledsoe, 57, of Oral, S.D., passed away August 2, 2021, at her residence in Oral.
Annette was born July 7, 1964, in Yankton, S.D. to Yvonnie Crowley. She had a brother, Jason and a sister, Shelly. Annette graduated from high school in Yankton with the class of 1981. She was blessed with two sons, Justin (36 years old) and Jeremy (31 years old) both born in Rapid City, S.D. Annette married Derald in 1999 and in 2003 moved to a new house on 35 acres in Oral. Annette attended college at Black Hills State University and studied psychology, thinking she was too old she never completed her degree. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom, loving all children and was a mother to any and many a child. She had numerous housekeeping, secretarial positions and day care provider positions during her life.
Her love for animals ensured there were many cats, dogs and even a pet squirrel at her home. She had a passion for decorating and she was skilled at writing poetry. Annette could create art from any used product but using cards and flowers were her favorite.
In 2016 Annette suffered a heart attack and pneumonia. It was discovered at that time she had congestive heart failure. She endured that disease and was a strong fighter against it until her death.
Annette is survived by her husband, Derald; son, Justin (Jenna); son, Jeremy; mom, Yvonnie; step-dad, John Paulson and 3 grandkids.
Annette will be missed by all.
Committal services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery near Oral.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs, S.D.
