Gary Moller, 85, passed away January 16, 2021 at Monument Health in Rapid City, S.D. with his family by his side.
Gary was born September 9, 1935 in Wessington, S.D. to Emil and Nina (Cavanee) Moller.
Gary is survived by his children, Dan (Joy) Moller of Rapid City; Scott (Tinka) Moller of Alliance, Neb.; Penny (Jay) Alderman of Rapid City; Connie Kanaan of Rapid City; Julie Moller of Rapid City; Pam (Don) McDonald of Alliance, Neb.; and Mark (Heather) Moller of Phoenix, Ariz. Brothers, Hank (Sherry) Moller of Rushville, Neb.; Bill (Janet) Moller of Mitchell; and Keith (Julie) Moller of Sioux Falls; and twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Gary was a proud veteran that served in the Army as a combat medic in the Korean War. He met Gladys May Kayser and they married on June 19, 1958. They had an unbreakable bond that lasted for over 60 years.
Gary had many friends that he loved to spend time with at the VFW, American Legion and the Winners Circle. He loved to get together every Friday for good food, good friends and good laughs.
Gary loved his family and was always ready to join in whatever fun was being planned. He enjoyed watching sports, including Golf and Football, and especially appreciated going to Phoenix to spend time with his son, Mark, golfing and enjoying his favorite Mexican Restaurants. He loved an ice-cold beverage and good barbeque at Angostura with his kids and grandkids.
Dad, it is with a heavy heart that we must let you go, but Mom is waiting to go dancing. Rest easy now and know that we will miss you and that we love you with all our hearts.

He was laid to rest at the Black Hills National Cemetery, near Sturgis.
