Forest D. Hall, 83, of Hot Springs, S.D., passed away June 13, 2020, at his residence in Hot Springs.
Forest was born July 5, 1936, in Hot Springs, to Clarence Frances and Verona (Jordan) Hall. Forest proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 - 1975.
Forest was married to Mary Melissa McClellan from 1958 to 1979 and to Betty Jo Hadden from 1982 - 2007.
Forest worked 15 years at the VA Domalicary. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf, but mostly loved being with family and friends. He was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club and was affliated with the Elks, VFW, American Legion, NRA and Ducks Unlimited.
Forest is survived by his sons, Randall (Sherry) Hall, Havasu City, Ariz; Forest Hall, Prescott, Ariz; and Carl Hall, Hot Springs; stepchildren, Misty Tutsch of Kent, Wash.; Jeff Graf (Patricia Burke) of Bremerton, Wash.; Darcy (Mike) Closner of Yakima, Wash; Kim (Bryan) Hansen of Bremerton, Wash.; and Kirk Graf of Yakima, Wash; sister, Marynell Rose, Hot Springs; 7 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren.
Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. on July 10, 2020, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, S.D., with military honors.
Memorials may be sent in Forest’s name to the Volunteer Programs at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs.
