Invitation to Bid

CUSTODIAL SERVICES
Invitation to bid for the custodial services at the Hot Springs Elementary School/Hot Springs Middle School and/or Hot Springs High School as per specifications.
Bid specifications may be obtained from the Hot Springs School District Administrative Offices at 1747 Lincoln Ave, Hot Springs, South Dakota, 57747; telephone (605) 745-4145.
Each bid per building shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier’s check or draft in the amount of $500.00, or in lieu thereof a bid bond in the amount of $500.00, such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the state, payable to the Hot Springs School District 23-2, which shall be forfeited to the school district in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract.
The owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the bidders for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the opening of the bids.
“Custodial Bid” must appear on the outside of each bid envelope.
Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m., Local Time on the 10th day of November 2023, at the office of the Business Manager, Hot Springs School District 23-2, 1747 Lincoln Ave, Hot Springs, South Dakota, at which time bids will be opened, read aloud, and tabulated. Bids will be considered by the School Board at their regular meeting on November 13th, 2023, which starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Hot Springs School District Administrative Offices location at 1747 Lincoln Avenue, Hot Springs, SD.
The School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waiver any informalities, and to accept the bid that is to the advantage of and in the best interest of the Hot Springs School District.
