Special Meeting
May 09, 2023
CALL TO ORDER – ROLL CALL: Mayor, Rheta Reagan, called the regular meeting of the Edgemont Common Council to order at 7:00 p.m. on May 9, 2023, at Edgemont City Hall. Present were Council members, David Levey, Jarrell Rola, Dennis Tubb and Brent White.  Jason Shook.
Pledge of Allegiance was stated.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS: No conflicts were heard.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Brent White made a motion to approve the May 9, 2023 agenda. Motion seconded by Jarrell Rola. Motion carried with unanimous vote.  
NEW BUSINESS:
Accept Nick Robinson Resignation: David Levey made a motion to accept NicK Robinson’s resignation. Motion seconded by Brent White. Shook, aye, White, aye, Levey, aye, Rola, aye Tubb, nay. Motion carried 4-1.
Appointment of Finance Officer: Jason Shook made a motion to appoint Aaron Eberle as Finance Officer for $40,000 per year plus benefits. Motion was second by Dennis Tubb. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Appointment of Finance Officer as Signatory: Dennis Tubb made a motion to put Aaron Eberle on all signatories at the First Interstate Bank. Motion was second by David Levey. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Finance Officer to Training: Dennis Tubb made a motion to send Aaron Eberle to Finance Officer School June 7-9 in Pierre.
Executive Session: Dennis Tubb made a motion to enter into Executive Session at 7:08 p.m. Motion was second by Brent White. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Mayor, Rheta Reagan called meeting back to order at 7:40 p.m.
Action Taken: David Levey made a motion to advertise for a part time City Clerk in the Fall River Herald Star for 2 weeks. Motion second by Jarrell Rola. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
ADJOURNMENT: David Levey made a motion to adjourn at 7:41 p.m. Motion was seconded by Jarrell Rola.  Motion carried with unanimous vote.
The next regular City Council meeting will be held May 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
