Regular Meeting
January 3, 2023
Call To Order – Roll Call: Mayor, Carla Schepler, called the regular meeting of the Edgemont Common Council to order at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2023, at Edgemont City Hall. Present were Council members, David Levey, Jarrell Rola, Carl Shaw, Dennis Tubb and Brent White.
Pledge of Allegiance was stated.
Conflict Of Interest For Council Members: None were heard.
Approval Of Agenda: Brent White made a motion to approve the January 3, 2023 agenda. Motion seconded by David Levey. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
Approval Of Minutes: Carl Shaw made a motion to approve the December 20, 2022 minutes. Motion was seconded by Jarrell Rola. Motion carried with unanimous vote.

Public Comment: No public comment was heard.
Approval Of Claims: Dennis Tubb made a motion to approve the January 3, 2023 claims totaling $37,867.65. Motion seconded by Carl Shaw. Motion carried with unanimous roll call vote.

2023 Wages: Dennis Tubb made a motion to approve the current list of wages and benefits for the City of Edgemont Employees. Motion seconded by Jarrell Rola. Motion carried with unanimous roll call vote.
Joe Koller - $19.93 per hour plus benefits
Kyle Kaiser - $16.82 per hour plus benefits
Randy Millburn - $15.92 per hour plus benefits
Dane Hirschfeld - $16.42 per hour plus benefits
Karen Cain - $47715.00 per year plus insurance
Stacie Harter - $15.23 per hour
Agnes Reecy - $14.71 per hour
Dianna Johnson - $13.36 per hour
Substitutes - $10.00 per hour
2023 Employee Raises: Dennis Tubb made a motion to approve a 3% raise for all City of Edgemont employees. Motion seconded by Carl Shaw. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
2023 Library Volunteers: Carl Shaw made a motion to approve the 2023 list of volunteers for the Library as read. Motion seconded by Jarrell Rola. Motion carried with unanimous vote.

2023 Edgemont Fire Dept Volunteers: Dennis Tubb made a motion to approve the 2023 list of volunteers for the Edgemont Volunteer Fire Dept as read. Motion seconded by David Levey. Motion carried with unanimous vote.

Executive Session Per Sdcl 1-25-2 (1, 3&4) Personnel/Litigation/Contracts: Dennis Tubb made a motion to enter into executive session at 7:29 p.m. Motion was seconded by Carl Shaw. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
Return to regular meeting at 8:02 p.m.
No action was taken.
Adjournment: David Levey made a motion to adjourn at 8:03 p.m. Motion was seconded by Brent White. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
The next regular City Council meeting will be held January 17, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
