Notice to Bidders
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hot Springs, South Dakota, will receive written “sealed bids” at the Office of the City Administrator in City Hall, 303 North River Street, Hot Springs, South Dakota until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 for RFP-2021 WESCH-OAK BUILDING DEMOLITION SERVICES. Bids will be opened at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 and be publicly read aloud at the City of Hot Springs - Council meeting at the Mueller Civic Center, 801 S. 6th Street, Hot Springs, SD.
This project is for the demolition, debris removal, and site restoration of a condemned building at 717 North River Street in Hot Springs, South Dakota, also commonly known as the Wesch-Oak Building. All demolition services work will be required to be performed in strict accordance with the terms/conditions and completion deadline as outlined in the request for proposals.
A site walk-through has been scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the project site. All RFP respondents are encouraged to make a thorough visual assessment of the building and its contents requiring removal at this time. The RFP documents, location drawings, public records and engineering assessment reports s may be examined at the following location:

Sealed bids must be plainly marked to identify their contents. No bid shall be withdrawn after the filing time without the written consent of the Hot Springs, City Council, for a period of ninety (90) days after the filing time. The City Council of the City of Hot Springs, South Dakota reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informalities or technicalities in bidding, and to accept the bid that is to the advantage of, and in the best interest of, the City of Hot Springs.
